Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween all of your guys and ghouls!!!!

Ahhh Halloween, my most favourite time of the year. I am not going to lie, getting to this date was filled with a lot of anxiety what with the Coronavirus threatening to put a stop to our good times. With the 31st October taking place on a Saturday it is the optimal party time of the year, and in America sees an extra hour gained during the spooky holiday, giving them more reason to celebrate. So, needless to say this was an important Halloween to ring in.

Social distancing is still a necessity in this day and age, and this year we have put in place more precautions for my annual Halloween party, but I am extremely happy to say that it is still going ahead tonight! Taking place at my co-host Charlotte's home, this Halloween is set to be a super rocking time and I am so excited to reveal my Halloween costume for 2020 -

As part of my Halloween celebrations I have also been taking part in the 31 Day October Horror Movie Challenge all month for the fourth time in a row. If you've been on my social media you will have seen the shift to Halloween and the list of horror movies I have been watching throughout the month already, but stay tuned for the complete three part list to be published on This Side of Sanguine in the coming weeks of November. It's going to be a good one!

In the meantime, I am excited to bring on another year of horror pop culture and can't wait to see what 2021 will bring - hopefully it will be less living dead-y like it has been with COVID-19, and more Hocus Pocus!
